Palawi, operating under the Prabha Hira Pratishthan, is a dedicated social organization established in 2001 in Pandharpur, Maharashtra, by Founder President Mangal Shah and Founder Secretary Dimple Ghadge. For over 24 years, Palawi has been committed to transforming the lives of the most vulnerable, primarily focusing on providing compassionate care, dignity, and a second chance for children and women impacted by HIV and poverty.
The organization provides a holistic approach to life, including shelter, nutrition, healthcare, and education, having supported over 6,000+ children with care, and educating 38,000 underprivileged children. Palawi’s programs are built on core pillars: Compassionate Support, Holistic Health Support, Educational Empowerment, and Rehabilitation, aiming for a world where every individual lives a life of dignity and purpose. A key achievement of the Prabha Hira Pratishthan Trust is maintaining a zero mortality rate since its inception.
Ongoing Projects: Palawi Sangopan Project, Palawi Dyanmadir School, Palawi Sanjeevani, Palawi Apna Ghar (for destitute women), Palawi Creations (Self Reliance), and various health and educational programs.
